October at Glasstown: A Month of Community, Costumes and Craft Beer
Pumpkins, a car show, a costumed 5K, paint and sip, a chili cookoff, crab nights and Halloween. Here's everything that happened at Glasstown in October.

October was our busiest month of the year, and every weekend the taproom was full of familiar faces and new ones. Thank you to everyone who came out to carve, run, paint, cook, dress up and enjoy some fantastic craft beer with us.
Glasstown isn't just a brewery. It's its own community and a destination, and there's always something exciting happening. Here's a look back at the month.
Pumpkin Carving Contest – Friday, Oct 16
We kicked off the Halloween season with knives, scoops and pints. The carvers did not hold back.
Veterans Show and Throw – Saturday, Oct 17
Our second annual Show and Throw brought trucks, cars and a great crowd out to the airfield to honor our veterans. Thank you to every veteran who stopped by, and to everyone who brought something to show.
Boos and Brews 10K, 5K and Beer Mile – Sunday, Oct 18
Runners in costume, a course around the Millville airfield, and a Boos and Brews pint waiting at the finish. Thank you to everyone who laced up, and to the friends and family who cheered them in.
Mo's Chaotic Paint and Sip – Friday, Oct 23
The taproom turned into an art studio. Mo walked a packed room through a spooky Halloween scene, and every painting came out a little different. Ghosts, pumpkins and full moons as far as the eye could see.

Chili Cookoff – Saturday, Oct 24
The slow cookers lined the bar and the tasters went to work. Thank you to every cook who brought a pot, and to everyone who came out to taste, vote and argue about beans.
Neal the Crab Guy
Neal and his seafood truck were back throughout October with steamed crabs, loaded crab fries and linguine. Good news: he's back on Fridays Nov 6, 13 and 20 (4 to 9 PM), and Saturday Nov 21 (noon to 8 PM) is your last chance until 2027.
Spooky Sculpt with Impact Gym – Friday, Oct 30
A sunset workout on the lawn with our friends from Impact Gym. A great crowd stretched out under the string lights, then came in for a well-earned pint.
The Halloween Party – Saturday, Oct 31
We closed out the month in style: live music from Frank Dinger and NightCap, a taproom full of costumes, and the Villains taking Best Group (again).

See every winner and all the photos in our full Halloween recap.
Thank you
To everyone who came out in October: thank you. You're what makes Glasstown more than a brewery. We'll see you in November for Neal's last crab nights, Thanksgiving Eve with Frank Dinger, our Black Friday gift card deal, and the launch of the Mug Club and Winter Pass on Small Business Saturday.
